A master control room does three things: watch every channel, notice when one goes wrong, and do something about it. Traditionally that means a monitor wall, a probe estate, an automation system, and enough staff to stare at all of it. Norsk builds the whole thing as one workflow — the wall, the quality analysis, the failover, and the decisioning — and lets you choose how much of the watching a human does.
How it works
The MCR loop maps onto components in a single workflow — which means the thing that spots the problem and the thing that fixes it are already connected.
monitorWall renders a configurable grid of live previews over MoQ, WebRTC, or JPEG, with per-source labels, audio meters, and quality alerts overlaid on the tiles that need attention. It's a URL, not a video wall — so the MCR can be a room, a desk, or a person on call, and it costs nothing to have a second one somewhere else.
qualityMonitoring annotates video frames with raw metrics — black frame, freeze frame, no-reference image quality — as they pass through the workflow, and downstream components apply your thresholds. There's no separate probe estate tapping your streams, because the analysis happens where the media already is.

The MCR problem isn't monitoring — it's that monitoring only pays off if it's attached to something that can act.
A channel estate grows faster than the headcount watching it. Adding channels means adding wall real estate, probe licences, and eyes — and the marginal channel is never worth what it costs to monitor properly.
The wall, the quality analysis, and the failover are components in the channel's own workflow, so a new channel arrives monitored by construction. AI reasoning triages what's worth waking someone for; the operators handle those, not the other forty.
